Job Description
Job Purpose
To supervise and lead the organization's cybersecurity activities. The job holder shall design and implement cybersecurity strategies and frameworks. He/she shall guide and ensure effective cybersecurity practices across the organization.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the implementation and effectiveness of the cybersecurity program within the department or business unit.
- Identify and assess security risks specific to the department or business unit and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for effective incident resolution.
- Manage the implementation and optimization of security controls and technologies within the department or business unit.
- Coordinate cybersecurity audits and assessments and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Skills
Knowledge
Policy & Procedure: knowledge of the interpretation and development of policies and procedures, including monitoring their
consistent application.
Administration and Management: of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation,
human resources management, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.Skills
Business Skills & Understanding: Understanding of the business environment and relationships and what is required to
develop and sustain these.
Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or
approaches to problems.
