Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure that all safety policies, procedures, rule and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
- Identify safety and environment hazards, risks. And promote the reduction or elimination of deaths, and safety related to financial losses.
- Implement company’s safety related and develop safety check/audit inspection list, hazard lists and documents.
- Monitor company/departments safety performance and recommend priorities and actions for improvement.
- Implement appropriate risk identification and measurement methodologies to proactively recommend solutions and update crisis management guides to ensure continuous improvement.
- Coordinate all safety- related activities within the requirements of the safety program with respect to government , local or/and international directives & standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Report and investigate aircraft, ground safety, and environmental accidents to determine the cause of the accident and formulate recommendations to help prevent similar mishaps in the future.
- Encourage appropriate compliance behavior and culture by effective communication and dissemination of compliance strategy, policy, and processes.
- Recommend improvements to departmental and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of safety activities so that all relevant procedures requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost effective service.
- Participate in risk assessment studies and recommend risk reduction measures.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures contracts to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Prepare timely and accurate report to the functional head to meet company and departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
- Participate in safety review committee & safety action groups.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the department.
- Undertake any other function are assigned by immediate supervisor.
