Job Description

Job Summary:


The Section Manager for New Product Introduction (NPI) Repair Engineering will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop and implement repair solutions for new products. This role will involve overseeing the repair engineering process, ensuring efficient and effective repair solutions are developed and implemented in a timely manner.

Job Responsibility:


1. Lead a team of engineers in developing repair solutions for new products entering the market.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure repair solutions meet quality standards and customer requirements.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize repair processes and reduce repair cycle times.
4. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source components and materials needed for repairs.
5. Analyze and report on repair performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
6. Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards in repair engineering activities.

Candidate Requirements:


1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in repair engineering, particularly in a new product introduction (NPI) setting.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
5. Solid understanding of quality standards and regulatory requirements in repair engineering.
6. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance repair processes.
