Planner, Shop Production

Job Summary:

The Planner, Shop Production is responsible for creating production schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects in a manufacturing or production environment.

Job Responsibility:

- Create detailed production schedules based on project requirements, available resources, and production capacity.
- Monitor and track progress of production activities to ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines.
- Identify any production delays or bottlenecks and work with relevant teams to address them promptly.
- Coordinate with purchasing and inventory departments to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Communicate production schedules and updates to all relevant stakeholders, including production staff and management.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in production meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and potential solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field.
- Proven experience working as a production planner or scheduler in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in using production planning software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
