Manager, Test Cell

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Manager, Test Cell to oversee and manage the operations of our Test Cell department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective testing of aircraft components and systems to meet safety standards and quality requirements.

Job Responsibility:

1. Manage a team of Test Cell Engineers and Technicians to ensure smooth testing operations.
2. Develop and implement testing procedures and protocols to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
3. Oversee the maintenance and calibration of test equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
4. Coordinate with other departments to schedule and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines.
5. Review test results and provide reports to internal stakeholders on the performance of aircraft components and systems.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards in the testing process.
7. Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Train and mentor staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in testing methodologies.

Candidate Requirements:

1. bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in a testing environment, preferably in the aviation industry.
3. Strong leadership and managerial skills to effectively lead a team of engineers and technicians.
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address technical issues and challenges.
5. In-depth knowledge of testing procedures, equipment, and safety regulations.
6. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
7. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Certifications in relevant testing methodologies or safety standards are a plus.
