Helicopter Maintenance Technician B1

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on helicopters in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and avionics problems on helicopters.
• Replace or repair defective components, parts, and systems, including airframes, engines, rotor systems, and avionics equipment. 
• Inspect, test, and calibrate aircraft systems and components, such as engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and flight controls.
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately and promptly, including work orders, logbook entries, and inspection reports.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and maintenance facilities.
• Comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with aircraft modifications, installations, and upgrades as required.
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and pilots to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize aircraft performance.

Requirements:

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic certification with a B1 rating (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a helicopter maintenance technician.
• Hold a valid and current GACA or equivalently ICAO recognized license.
• Hold a type rating in AW139, H145 and H160 performed in an international approved training organization.
