Helicopter Maintenance Line Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily helicopter maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize aircraft availability while minimizing downtime.

• Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

• Conduct regular inspections of helicopters to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.

• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure availability of necessary parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts replaced, and hours spent on each aircraft.

• Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends, anticipate potential issues, and recommend preventive measures.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as flight operations and quality assurance, to optimize overall helicopter performance and safety.

• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Stay informed about advancements in helicopter technology, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements, and incorporate relevant changes into maintenance operations.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid and current GACA or equivalently ICAO recognized license.

• Hold a type rating in AW139 or H145 performed in an international approved training organization.

• Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to oversee and manage a team of maintenance technicians and support staff effectively.

• Aviation Maintenance Expertise.

• Safety Compliance.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using maintenance tools, equipment.
• Communication Skills.
