Ground Support Equipment Senior Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Ground Support Equipment Senior Technician to oversee and maintain all ground support equipment, including vehicles, machinery, and tools, to ensure safe and smooth operations at our facility.

Job Responsibility:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of ground support equipment such as baggage tugs, pushback tractors, forklifts, and maintenance platforms.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire inspections, to ensure equipment safety and efficiency.
- Oversee the calibration and testing of equipment to meet industry standards and regulations.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Candidate Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Ground Support Equipment Technician, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, including rotating shifts and weekends as needed.
