Job Summary:
The Facility Engineering Specialist is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of equipment, facilities, and systems within a company. They ensure that all equipment is functioning properly to support the operations of the organization.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or potential problems.
- Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and maintenance work.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Manage budgets and costs related to facility maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related needs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in facility maintenance and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in facility management is a plus.
