Chief Specialist, Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance

Summary:
The Chief Specialist in Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance for powerplant will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of aircraft powerplant maintenance and engineering to ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.

Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules for powerplant systems.
2. Provide technical expertise and guidance on powerplant maintenance and engineering issues.
3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manufacturer requirements.
4. Manage a team of engineers and technicians to carry out maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.
5. Monitor and analyze performance data to identify trends and potential improvements in powerplant systems.
6. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in aircraft powerplant systems.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience in aircraft powerplant maintenance and engineering, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
3. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to aircraft powerplant systems.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
