Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cabin Technician to join our team at Saudia Technic. As a Cabin Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of cabin equipment and interior fixtures, ensuring the highest level of safety and comfort for passengers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of cabin systems, including inflight entertainment systems, seats, galleys, lavatories, lighting, and communication systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks on cabin equipment and fixtures in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cabin systems and components, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Install and configure new cabin equipment and fixtures, including seat modifications, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other maintenance teams to coordinate the repair or replacement of defective cabin components.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines during cabin maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and service records.
- Keep abreast of advancements in cabin technology and equipment, attending trainings and workshops as necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in aviation maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Cabin Technician or in a similar role within the aviation industry.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft cabin systems and components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and conducting repairs on cabin equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and regulatory standards (FAA, EASA, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks in tight spaces and at heights.
