Manager Powerplant Cost, Contract & Vendor Management

Summary:
 A Manager of Powerplant Cost, Contract & Vendor Management to oversee the financial aspects, contract negotiations, and relationship management with vendors for our powerplant operations.

Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and implement cost management strategies to optimize expenses related to powerplant operations.
2. Negotiate contracts with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
3. Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contracts to ensure quality service delivery.
4. Analyze financial data and prepare reports on cost metrics, budget forecasts, and cost-saving opportunities.
5. Manage relationships with vendors, resolving any disputes and maintaining positive partnerships.
6. Stay updated on industry trends to recommend improvements in cost management and vendor practices.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus.
2. Proven work experience in cost management, contract negotiations, and vendor management within the powerplant or energy industry.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
5. Familiarity with legal aspects of contracts and vendor agreements.
6. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
