Assistant Technician, Aircraft Cabin Maintenance

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cabin Technician - IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) with MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) experience to join our team. The Cabin Technician - IFE will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of in-flight entertainment systems and related cabin equipment. In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met while providing an exceptional onboard passenger experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test in-flight entertainment systems and related cabin equipment, including but not limited to audio/video systems, seatback monitors, connectivity systems, power supplies, and control panels.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair technical issues related to in-flight entertainment systems, ensuring minimal disruption to scheduled flights and passenger experience.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and scheduled upgrades on in-flight entertainment systems, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and stakeholders, to identify and address any complex technical issues or system improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all installation, repairs, and maintenance activities for regulatory compliance and knowledge transfer purposes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements pertaining to in-flight entertainment systems to ensure the highest level of service and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics, avionics, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of in-flight entertainment systems in an MRO or aviation environment.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, audio/video systems, connectivity solutions, and cabin equipment commonly used on commercial aircraft.
- Solid understanding of MRO processes, including aircraft maintenance practices, equipment testing, and documentation.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues accurately.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills to effectively work with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to adhere to strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards in an aviation environment.
